Visitors' Photos

"Pleasantest of all the ties is the tie of host and guest."

i Aeschylus, "The Choephori"

I had been entertaining the idea of making a page for visitors to display their photos of Pelion for quite some time, but was rather hesitant, because I was unsure whether I'd find people willing to share their images online.

So, when Des Healy, a site visitor and fellow Pelion lover from the UK, asked whether I'd like to post some of his photos on my site, I immediately jumped at the opportunity.

Now, unknown friends, you too can help build this part of the site by submitting your favorite pictures of Pelion to Anthony.

Please include a title and/or short description for each photo, date and location shot, as well as any copyright notices you would like attached. I would really appreciate your sending landscape-oriented pictures (i.e. image width greater than height), sized to about the same dimensions, as this will make my life much easier.

Before I officially upload your page(s), I will send you a link to preview my work and give me the OK to go live or send me comments in respect of any modifications you deem necessary. I assure you that no pages or pictures will be accessible online to anyone else but you, without your prior consent. Enjoy your pictures!

Des was kind enough to send me some of the really stunning photographs he shot while on vacation in Pelion, in 2004. They're really worth looking at!

Manolo, Spain
Manolo, from Spain, sent me a set of three beautiful images of Horto and Milina, which I'd like to share with you.
