Meteorology

"The exhalation of water is vapor: Air condensing into water is cloud. Mist is what is left over, when a cloud condenses into water..."

i Aristotle, "Meteorologica"

The pages below provide historical information on Pelion's weather and climate. The data have been taken over long periods of time, e.g. 20 - 30 years and are useful in that they show weather patterns and trends. As can be expected, they won't tell you what weather you'll encounter when you visit Pelion. What they tell you is that if you visit the area regularly for a long time, you can expect, on average, 2 rainy days in August.

But I'm guessing you only want a short-term forecast to plan your vacation. Well, you needn't despair. The weather pages provide information on the current weather conditions in the Pelion region, courtesy of the Weather Channel. And, by clicking on the associated link, you can get a 10-day forecast.

So, go ahead and take a look. Chances are you're in luck, inasmuch as the weather in Pelion is usually great from May till around October!
